Today (2 May 2025) Mr. Ittiporn Boonprakong, Chairman of the Election Commission, spoke about the majority resolution of the Election Commission meeting to send the case to the Supreme Court to revoke the right to apply for election and the right to vote and to prosecute Dr. Kesakamon Pliansamai, a member of the Senate as the defendant, on the grounds that he believed that there was an action in violation of the law on the selection of Senators, Section 77(4), namely deceiving or inducing others to believe that they believe in her qualifications, knowledge, expertise, reputation, and honor.
